Job Description SummaryThis role leads the facility maintenance teams for the entire aircraft engine repair overhaul site, as well as new production.
This role provides key front-line leadership to a team of skilled tradesmen that support the repair overhaul teams in the referenced areas.
The successful candidate will offer technical support and guidance to the teams and customers in order to meet shop goals and priorities.
The successful candidate will also be a strong partner to the operations team and be able to operate in a matrixed environment.
Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesLead the team's personnel in daily operations, demonstrating strong integration with maintenance operations teams and cross functional stakeholdersEstablish the use of key metrics to ensure all related activities are meeting expectations for the business, teams, employees and customersEstablish a culture of continuous improvementDemonstrate leadership in communicating business goals/programs/processes consistently across the teamsProvide technical leadership for facility maintenance personnel across the entire aircraft engine repair overhaul and new production areas.
Manage maintenance engineering projects, rebuilds, retrofits and new installationsProvide technical training for the facility maintenance workforceEnsure compliance with the EHS safety standard with special focus on equipment safetyDrive implementation of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiativesProvide training for the Maximo PM database, supporting software and proceduresMonitor PM backlogs to ensure timely completionStandardize maintenance programs, procedures and processes across the business unitsReduce downtime by improving reliability and maintainability of equipmentRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED and an additional 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment)3+ years of experience working in Maintenance/Manufacturing.
