    Branch Sales Manager - Wholesale Site

    Location: Hickory Hill/Memphis, TN

    As the Branch Sales Manager in charge of driving the market and leading the team, your main responsibilities include:

    • Championing a culture focused on safety first
    • Driving sales growth by developing and leading a local sales team
    • Ensuring team members provide friendly, professional, and timely service to all customers
    • Monitoring performance, profitability, and branch operations
    The Branch Sales Manager holds Profit and Loss responsibilities for the branch serving the Springfield, MA market. This role involves overseeing branch operations, ensuring employee engagement, maximizing sales and profitability through various strategies such as merchandising, inventory control, and managing operating costs.

    All CE Team Members are tasked with delivering a high-quality customer experience while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked branch to meet customer needs.

    Branch Sales Managers play a critical role in leading the branch location in several key areas:

    People First
    • Engaging with associates, leading and developing team members, recruiting, hiring, training, and complying with labor laws and company policies in collaboration with the HR team
    • Mentoring and coaching associates on career growth opportunities
    • Implementing and maintaining top-tier customer experiences
    • Demonstrating high personal accountability
    Safety
    • Promoting safety awareness and ensuring safe practices among associates
    • Adhering to company safety policies and procedures
    • Completing work in a safe manner to prioritize the safety of all individuals
    CE Culture
    • Meeting the needs of the local community, engaging in volunteer work with non-profit organizations
    • Developing and empowering employees
    • Thriving as an engaged community member
    Delivering Results Sales Growth/ P L Management
    • Driving Branch Sales Scorecard performance
    • Utilizing Business Intelligence to analyze and drive sales performance
    • Collaborating with other sales channels to boost branch traffic
    • Maintaining open communication with various teams, customers, and vendors
    • Effectively managing branch P L
    • Implementing plans to maximize sales and achieve objectives
    • Managing inventory efficiently
    • Monitoring labor costs and compliance with key controls
    • Ensuring compliance with all SOX key controls

    Requirements:

    Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree preferred; alternatively, an associate degree with relevant experience may be considered
    • Prior leadership experience with profit and loss responsibility
    • Experience leading teams in retail or wholesale environments with B2B client interaction
    • Track record of driving sales growth in a retail setting
    • Proficiency in analyzing customer, market, and competitor data for informed decision-making
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience working with contractors
    • Computer literacy, particularly in MS Office applications
    • Ability to work in a team environment and engage collaboratively
    • Proficiency in technical environments
    • Previous use of sales and inventory management software
    • Experience in motivating and influencing teams
