***The Sales and Customer Support Assistant will assist customers through the phone, computer and/or in person.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with Quote process, Quote preparation and Quote files.
  • Daily monitoring of customer on line portals for receipt of quote and sending quote responses.
  • Create proposals, letters and miscellaneous correspondence as requested.
  • Answer sales calls and provide information/support as needed.
  • Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Be responsible for customer communication, and managing certain customer accounts as requested.
  • Research and generate correspondence to resolve customer issues.
  • Maintain detail files for various sales and customer documentation/communication.
  • Provide value to our customers by using Lean tools and concepts to identify and eliminate waste in all forms (scrap/rework, transportation, motion, waiting, inventory, over production, over processing, and underutilization of people). Uses systemic thinking by seeing processes from end to end and works to challenge the status quo to eliminate the root cause of problems. Is involved in individual and/or team activities that involve using Lean tools and concepts to improve the flow of information and material.
  • Other duties as assigned

KEY PERFORMANCE METRICS

  • Use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook on a daily basis
  • Good written/verbal communication skills
  • Be able to work as a team
  • Problem solving in a timely manner
  • Attention to detail

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to sit at a computer for up to 8 hours.
  • Good visual acuity

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma
  • Communication skills written/verbal
  • Strong computer skills
  • Able to analyze, prioritize, identify, and execute solutions.
  • Sense of urgency
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Technical and math abilities a plus

Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour
