- Establishes, modifies, and upholds quality standards and protocols for processing materials into finished or semi-finished products.
- Works closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement and maintain quality standards.
- Develops and executes methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating product precision and equipment accuracy.
- Designs or specifies inspection and testing equipment, conducts quality assurance tests, and conducts statistical analyses to assess costs and determine responsibility for products that do not meet standards.
- Ensures that corrective measures meet reliability standards, and that documentation complies with requirements.
- Specializes in various areas such as design, material sourcing, production control, product evaluation, and research and development to improve product and process quality.
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
