Description
We have been retained by our client, a growing Mechanical General Contractor in the Conroe, TX area, to find aDirector of Engineering .
This role is critical for overseeing engineering projects, managing teams, and ensuring the delivery of field services in alignment with company goals.
Duties:
Lead the development and implementation of engineering project plans and standard operating procedures.
Manage and motivate engineering teams to meet project deadlines and maintain high standards of work.
Liaise with clients and provide technical support and presentations both internally and externally.
Oversee the completion of projects, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule, while maintaining communication with all stakeholders.
Conduct site visits and handle occasional travel as required to support project needs and customer engagement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
Demonstrated experience with HVAC systems including geothermal, chilled, and heating water-based systems.
Strong initiative, self-motivation, and a track record of successful project execution.
Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to handle complex technical details.
Ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a dynamic team environment.
