Information Technology (IT) Support Staff provides all desktop computing, hardware, software and peripherals support to all of our employees.
The position requires timely and accurate diagnosis of system related problems and determining between hardware, software and network related problems, and work in conjunction with the System Administrator to provide resolution.
The IT Support Staff will be expected to take ownership of assigned incidents and problems, and contact required resources both inside and outside the company necessary to resolve the problem.
Essential Job Functions:
Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:Maintain ownership of IT Helpdesk Ticket system
Monthly audit of the terminated users to assure that all accounts are properly deactivated.
Troubleshoot all information technology issues, including software, hardware, and networking.
Configure, install and update desktops, laptops, PDAs, peripherals, networks, and related software.
Install, assemble, and configure computers, monitors, network infrastructure, and peripherals such as printers, scanners, and related hardware.
Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems.
Makes repairs and corrections on computer systems, hardware and software, and peripheral equipment where required.
Receive and respond to incoming calls, e-mails, and helpdesk tickets regarding information technology issues.
Assist in IT administrative tasks (backup and recovery and servers maintenance).Support development and implementation of new projects and new hardware installations.
Required Job Functions:
Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:Maintain an inventory of all computers, monitors, printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment.
Assist in Application administration such as creating/terminating users.Effectively communicate, work with, and build relationships with all levels of constituents including culturally and linguistically diverse staff members and external candidates and/or vendors, while operating in a fast-paced customer service driven environment.
This position may require occasional overtime and travel.Additional tasks as assigned.
