- Develop original copy for a wide range of marketing materials, including but not limited to emails, social media, websites, ads, brochures, and press releases.
- Consistently apply and evolve the company's brand voice and messaging across all written content to ensure a cohesive brand identity.
- Work closely with the marketing, design, and product teams to brainstorm ideas, refine messages, and align copy with visual concepts.
- Ensure all content is on brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels.
- Conduct research and interviews to gather information and insights for content creation.
- Stay informed about industry trends, news, and competitive landscape to ensure content is relevant and timely.
- Analyze the effectiveness of copy through engagement metrics and conversions, and adjust strategies based on data insights.
- Work closely with the communications, marketing, and other relevant team members to understand content needs and priorities.
- Contributes to content projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and content objectives are achieved.
- Contribute to the creative development of marketing campaigns from the initial concept to execution
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional writing experience, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates versatility across various types of content.
- Strong portfolio of written work demonstrating a wide range of styles and formats.
- Strong research and interviewing skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, engaging content.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across teams and departments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Experience with SEO principles and practices is a plus.
- Understanding of brand messaging and the ability to adapt writing style to fit the organization's voice and audience needs.
