The Dotcom Digital Experience team of Comcast Business is transforming how new and existing Small and Enterprise business customers establish and grow a long-lasting relationship with Comcast.

The Comcast Business Content Strategy team collaborates closely with Sales, Product, User Experience, Marketing, Customer Communications and Development counterparts to create and deliver the customer-facing digital content, with a stellar customer experience at the forefront of every decision.

As part of this, the Content Delivery team is focused on delivering best-in-class eCommerce and self-service experiences for our customers through the end-to-end journey in our Comcast Business digital properties.


Summary:

As a Content Editor on the Content Strategy + Delivery team, you'll work alongside developers and designers to deliver a best in class experience for our online customers.

Responsible for editing online content to maintain consistency of written copy for Company web products.

The Content Editor will work alongside developers and designers to execute and maintain digital content in Sitecore (Content Management System) to deliver a best in class experience for the Comcast Business website.

Works effectively cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure optimal execution of all projects while adhering to CMS guidelines and best practices.

The Content Editor will be organized and have an exceptional attention to detail. Integrates copy from digital projects onto the site in new and compelling ways. Ensures all web products' text meet technical delivery specs and appropriate format for online distribution. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Update and maintain content across the site using templates and components in CMS
  • Participate in quality assurance review to ensure all content across site is accurate
  • Work with various stakeholders—design, development, sales, among others—to produce dynamic content
  • Provide accurate reporting and notes for any updates in ServiceNow
  • Provide feedback on tools and processes to optimize team and workflow
  • Knowledge of Sitecore or similar Content Management System
  • Ability to work crossfunctionally with Design, Development and Business partners.
  • Reads copy or proofs to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
  • Allocates space for story text, photos, and illustrations according to space parameters and copy significance using knowledge of layout principles.
  • Verifies facts, dates, and statistics using standard reference sources.
  • Reviews and update web site with links to other organizations and external events.
  • Merges content from a variety of sources to create unified, appropriate content for online upload.
  • Reedits to create text that meets the objectives of the organization's online presence.
  • Interfaces daily with User Experience, IT programmers, and and additional stakeholders to maintain standards when editing.
  • Maintains a strong grasp of layout principals for web; ability to select, size, prep, and create new images for web using Photoshop.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Agility and flexibility to adapt to changing requests in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Education Level

  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent

Field of Study

  • Communications, Public Relations, Journalism

Years Experience

  • Generally requires 1+ years of Comcast Business experience; 35 years overall Experience with Sitecore CMS required
