    Are you an experienced embedded software engineer with hands-on C/C++ and Java programming skills? Are you passionate about IoT security and eager to work on cutting-edge software and services? In this role, the ideal candidate will participate in the design, development, and deployment of security frameworks involving PKI, Blockchain, Secure Elements, and Cryptographic Access Tokens on embedded devices.

    The candidate must be able to quickly pick up new languages and technologies, be a strong teammate, and rapidly adapt to changing business and customer demands.

    Innovation is a significant aspect of the role, as well as mentoring/coaching junior members of the technical staff.
    Designs and implements new software and web applications, supports applications under development, and customizes current applications. Develops a software update process for existing applications and assists in the roll-out of software releases.
    Serves as a guide and mentor for junior-level Software Development Engineers.
    Collaborates with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications meet specifications and technical requirements.

    Demonstrates expertise in knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, and skills and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.

    Bachelor's and/or Master's in Computer Science/Information Technology
    ~5+ years of professional experience in crafting embedded software applications
    ~ Proven C/C++ and Java programming skills and a good understanding of operating system fundamentals
    ~ Experience with Linux kernel and device driver development and deployment
    ~ Proficiency in Continuous Integration and Deployment tools (Jenkins, Concourse)
    ~ Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
    ~ Professional collaboration in multi-company open-source industry projects

    Experience in Angular, Python, and GoLang to code, design, and develop software
    Experience working with Internet-of-Things frameworks or platforms (Apple HomeKit, Xfinity, Nest, AWS IoT, etc.)
