    The Role:

    Sensus, a Xylem brand, seeks to hire a Software Engineer as a member of the Distribution Automation Software Applications team.

    The candidate will design, develop, and unit test software applications.

    The successful candidate will have the ability to succeed in a fast paced, fluid environment, while ensuring that project initiatives are met.

    Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities


    Candidates should have solid teamwork skills, leadership ability, problem solving skills, analytical thinking, multi-tasking, verbal communication skills, and a sense of humor.

    Enjoy working in a fast-paced agile based environment using Scrum

    Strong sense of ownership and drive as well as customer focus

    Previous Experience Preferred In The Following

    Git experience
    JavaScript
    Electron
    Mocha test framework
    Node.
    JS
    C# and/or Java
    .NET
    Redis

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

    BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
    1-5 years of experience in a software development related field
    Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
    UNIX/Linux experience
    Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of developers and quality engineers to meet aggressive goals and high quality standards


    SALARY:
    The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 to $110,000.

    Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
