Apprenticeship for Body and Vehicle Construction Mechanic (m/f/d) at The Hideout

In the daily work of a body builder, a variety of tools and materials are used. During the apprenticeship, you will learn how to handle them and apply them correctly, working together with your team to create the framework for a functional automobile.

The 3.5 years of your apprenticeship will take place both in school and in the workshop. The foundation for your technical knowledge will be laid in school. As a country known for its engineers and automobiles, Germany is constantly developing cutting-edge car products. What you will be working with in the workshop is pure high-tech.

After the first two years of your apprenticeship, you will specialize and can choose between three different focuses. Your entire specialized knowledge will then be brought to the point in the areas of body preservation technology, body construction technology, and vehicle construction technology.

What will you be able to do at the end of this apprenticeship?

  • Welding, measuring, and cutting different materials
  • Assembly, disassembly, and repair of body parts
  • Inspection and repair of wear and tear on the vehicle frame
  • Creating expert reports
  • Providing professional advice to customers
