    Description

    Thermal Concepts is looking for a new HR Assistant The ideal candidate will have some early career HR experience, with a friendly and easy-going personality. This position will sit at the administrative office front desk, so it will require some front desk reception duties as well (greetings guests, answering phone calls, going through the mail).

    Responsibilities

    • Verify employment eligibility through the E-Verify system
    • Handle job verifications for current and former employees
    • Organize and maintain physical and digital employee records
    • Create and maintain employee personnel files (physical + digital)
    • File and maintain important HR documents
    • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires
    • Coordinate and schedule job interviews
    • Coordinate logistics for employee training sessions and orientations for new hires
    • Support the HR team with daily activities, as well as special HR projects and initiatives
    • Front desk / Receptionist duties, including: greeting / directing guests as they arrive at the office, answering the telephone and taking messages / forwarding calls, receive/handle incoming and outgoing mail, performing other clerical / admin duties as needed

    Requirements and skills

    • Demonstrated work experience in Human Resources
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
    • Professional attitude and appearance
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Customer service attitude is critical
