    Job Description:

    Principaux critères d'exigibilite du VIE :

    • Être citoyen(ne) de l'Union Europeenne (plus Norvège, Islande et Liechtenstein), et candidat(e) diplôme(e) age(e) de 28 ans maximum.
    • Avoir accompli les obligations militaires de son pays.

    Vos challenges:

    En tant que chef de projet VIE HR Leadership Development, vous serez base a Herndon, en Virginie. Herndon est le siège social d'Airbus Americas. Vous rejoindrez le departement RH de la Leadership University Americas et vous serez en mesure de gerer les programmes de developpement du leadership pour Airbus et ses filiales en Amerique du Nord et en Amerique Latine.

    Leadership University Americas offre des competences en leadership et le developpement de competences generales a tous les employes et equipes aux États-Unis, au Canada et en Amerique latine. L'Universite propose un large eventail de programmes soutenant le developpement du leadership, les developpeurs acceleres, les centres de developpement de promotion, les master classes et bien plus encore.

    Ce rôle gagnera egalement en visibilite et fournira un soutien a notre cycle de vie de gestion des talents pour le developpement et la performance des individus et des equipes, ainsi qu'aux programmes de developpement de carrière soutenant les populations en debut, en milieu et en fin de carrière.

    Veuillez noter que bien que cet emplacement soit a moins de 40 minutes de Washington, D.C., votre allocation de Business France sera basee sur ETATS-UNIS (État de Washington, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Oregon, Maryland, Alaska, Virginie) et NON sur ETATS-UNIS.     Le VIE dans ce rôle sera charge de :

    • Soutenir le responsable de Leadership University Americas dans la conception du plan annuel de developpement de l'universite de leadership 2025 pour Airbus en Amerique du Nord et en Amerique latine.
    • Assurer la liaison avec les equipes RH et toutes les parties prenantes concernees pour recueillir les besoins commerciaux en vue d'un plan reussi de la Leadership University pour 2025.
    • Soutenir la gestion des coûts et des previsions des activites de la Leadership University pour 2025. Soutenir la conception du modèle operationnel de gestion de l'apprentissage dans la region ainsi qu'entre l'Universite de leadership regional et mondial basee a Toulouse.
    • Favoriser le succès du programme pour les offres designees de la Leadership University
    • Creer des plans de marketing et de communication auprès des equipes RH internes et du Business. Prendre soin du bien-être de la communaute VIE Americaine et Canadienne et soutenir la connexion pour le groupe actuel.
    • Soutenir l'equipe de developpement et de talents avec les projets prioritaires selon les besoins

    Votre carte d'embarquement:

    • Bachelor ou niveau superieur en administration des affaires, ressources humaines, formation et developpement ou dans une discipline connexe.
    • Experience en gestion de projet, analyse de donnees et communication
    • Une experience d'apprentissage et de developpement est preferee mais pas obligatoire
    • Competences avancees en anglais, a l'oral et a l'ecrit, sont indispensables. Maîtrise de la langue française souhaitee, mais non obligatoire.
    • Au moins 3 ans d'experience professionnelle pertinente, sans compter les apprentissages ou les stages, sont preferables.
    • Experience avec les systèmes de gestion de l'apprentissage ou les SIRH et Google Suite est consideree comme un atout majeur.
    • Approche pratique, ouvert a l'adaptation aux priorites changeantes, capacite a collaborer et a bien travailler sous pression, capable de maintenir une attitude positive et de creer un environnement inclusif pour l'equipe.

    Ce rôle implique des deplacements professionnels sur une base trimestrielle aux États-Unis ou au Canada et, a ce titre, vous devez être en mesure de voyager en consequence.

    ENGLISH VERSION

    The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

    The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria.

    VIE Main Requirements:

    • European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old
    • Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any
    • Desire to be employed long-term by Airbus and a passion for the aerospace sector

    The contract duration of this VIE position is between 12-18 months depending on the US Government decision on your J-1 visa.

    Your Challenges:

    As the VIE HR Leadership Development Project Manager, you will be located in Herndon, Virginia. Herndon is the HeadQuarter of Airbus Americas. You will join the HR Department under the Leadership University Americas and you will be able to manage Leadership Development Programs for Airbus and its affiliates in North and Latin America.

    Leadership University Americas provides leadership skills and soft skills development for all employees and teams in the US, Canada, and Latin America. The University delivers a wide range of programs supporting Leadership Development, Accelerated Developers, promotion-track development centers, master classes, and much more.

    This role will also gain exposure and provide support for our Talent Management lifecycle for individual and team development and performance, and Career Development programs supporting early, mid-, and late career populations.

    Please note, although this location is within 40 minutes of Washington, D.C. your stipend from Business France will be based on ETATS-UNIS (Etat de Washington, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Oregon, Maryland, Alaska, Virginie) NOT ETATS-UNIS (Washington DC, District de Columbia). Please consider this when deciding if this is the right fit for you.

    The VIE in this role will be responsible for:

    • Supporting the Head of Leadership University Americas with designing the 2025 Annual Leadership University Development plan for Airbus in North and Latin America.
    • Liaising with HR teams and all relevant stakeholders to collect business needs for a successful Leadership University plan for 2025
    • Supporting the management of costing and forecast of the Leadership University activities for 2025
    • Supporting the design of the operating model for Learning Management in the Region as well as between the Regional and Global Leadership University based in Toulouse.
    • Driving program success for designated Leadership University offerings
    • Create marketing and communication plans to internal HR teams and the Business
    • Caring for the US and Canadian VIE community wellbeing and supporting connection for the current group
    • Supporting the Develop and Talent team with priority projects as needed

    Your boarding pass:

    • Bachelor Degree or above in Business Administration, Human Resources, Training & Development or a related discipline.
    • Project management, data analytics, and communication experience
    • Learning and development experience is preferred but not required
    • Advanced English language verbal and written skills are a must. French language proficiency preferred, but not required.
    • 3+ years of relevant work experience, not including apprenticeships or internships is preferred
    • Experience with Learning Management Systems or HRIS and Google Suite is considered a strong plus
    • Hands-on approach, open to adapting to changing priorities, ability to collaborate and work well under pressure, able to maintain a positive attitude and create an inclusive environment for the team.

    Travel

    This role will involve some travel for business on a quarterly basis in the US or Canada and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

    This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
