As an Assistant COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION Project Manager, you will have numerous responsibilities supporting our Project Management Teams.

Working beside highly talented and experienced COMMERCIAL Construction Project Managers, you will gain a tremendous amount of knowledge to help you expand your capabilities beyond your expectations.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Fouryear degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, architecture, or business
  • In lieu of a fouryear degree, additional COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION management work experience with a twoyear degree will be considered
  • 23 years' experience in
    COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION, including experience with a _
    COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR. WE ONLY DO COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION, NOT RESIDENTIAL_
  • Ability to read and interpret COMMERCIAL construction drawings and documents
  • Solid organizational, recordkeeping and followup skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Demonstrated excellence with organization and time management skills
  • Must be a initiativetaker and a problem solver
  • Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally, with a strong focus on professional business writing and verbal skills
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude; be team oriented, while able to work independently; have a true passion for construction
  • Be highly organized and able to manage numerous tasks
  • Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and a desire for excellence consistently
  • Competently work with MS Project, PROCORE and Excel
  • Create and maintain relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and vendors

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and managing project budgets for all assigned projects
  • Develop preconstruction RFP packages and support the bidding process
  • Assist in conducting project meetings, setting, and managing schedules and completing monthly reports for Tenant Interiors and Major Building Renovation Projects
  • Prepare subcontractor contracts for Project Manager approval
  • Work closely to coordinate with COMMERCIAL field superintendents and subcontractors
  • Assure project logistics, communications, and planning functions are correctly executed and implemented
  • Aid in managing the closeout process
  • Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team throughout the project guaranteeing a positive client experience
  • Handle assigned tasks from Project Managers

Pay:
$68, $85,000.00 per year
