- Providing top-notch care by assisting with daily living operations and monitoring our clients.
- Engaging clients in recreational activities, group sessions, and outings to foster their physical and mental well-being.
- Collaborating closely with mental health professionals, including doctors, nurses, and therapists. You'll communicate any changes or concerns about our clients, receive ongoing training, and benefit from constructive feedback to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- You have a bachelor's degree in a behavioral health science or equivalent work / volunteer experience.
- You have previous experience with treatment of substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders.
- You have training in verbal de-escalation and/or mental health (strongly preferred)
- You have a valid driver's license with no restrictions and are comfortable transporting clients in a 15 passenger van.
- You In accordance with Virginia state regulation all employees are required to complete a Central Registry Check, Fingerprinting, and Sandstone issued TB test prior to their start date.
