Salary: $117,962 - $153,354 per year

Work Schedule: Full-time

Appointment Type: Permanent

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled professional to join the Department of State, Bureau of Overseas Building Operations, Information Resource Management Division team in Arlington, VA. As part of the team, you will be responsible for implementing safeguards for information security, developing IT security performance measures, and ensuring the security of on-premise networks and Cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

Implementing safeguards for information security in on-premise networks and Cloud environments
Developing IT security performance measures
Handling information system security services
Serving as an Alternate Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

Qualifications:

Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship is required
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who have:

Experience in developing policies and strategies for service delivery
Expertise in providing technical advice on critical IT issues
Skills in communicating complex technical requirements to non-technical personnel
At least 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level
Experience in creating reporting dashboards and security alerts using tools like SQL queries, CyberArk, and Splunk
Knowledge of information system security and assurance principles
Experience in cyber defense tools for monitoring system activities
Proficiency in query languages for investigating and reporting events
