Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Environmental Permitt writer to join our team.

As an EHS Tech, you will be responsible for implementing environmental programs and initiatives to ensure compliance with regulations and promote sustainability.

This is a key role that requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of environmental practices.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement environmental policies, procedures, and programs
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential environmental hazards and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Monitor and analyze environmental data to identify trends, assess risks, and recommend appropriate actions
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business operations
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on environmental best practices
  • Conduct root cause analysis for environmental incidents and develop corrective action plans
  • Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory agencies as required
  • Stay uptodate with changes in environmental laws and regulations

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in environmental management or related role. Recent Graduates will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, including EPA standards
  • Experience in report writing and documentation for regulatory agencies
  • Proficient in conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively train employees on environmental practices
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred
  • Familiarity with workers compensation laws and occupational health standards
  • Ability to fabricate solutions to complex environmental challenges
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis

Pay:
From $65,000.00 per year
