PPA Originator (Power Purchase Agreement)

As an PPA Originator at Oceana, you will play a crucial role in negotiating Power Purchase Agreements with clients for Solar Projects. In addition, you will research and assess new markets, including emerging areas like hydrogen, to determine their potential for future PPA Agreements.

Working closely with our development and sales teams, you will ensure compliance with German guidelines and requirements while driving PPA agreements from inception to execution in order to meet growth targets. Your responsibilities will also include analyzing PPA markets and collaborating with trading officials to facilitate PPA development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with clients for Solar Projects.
  • Research and assess new markets, including hydrogen, for potential PPA Agreements.
  • Collaborate with development and sales teams to ensure compliance with German guidelines and requirements.
  • Drive PPA agreements from inception to execution to meet growth targets.
  • Analyze PPA markets and collaborate with trading officials to facilitate PPA development.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience negotiating PPA agreements for Renewable Energy projects.
  • Strong understanding of PPA valuations, including benefits and risks.
