    Senior Finance Director - Commercial Finance

    Hybrid schedule - 3 days per week in-office

    • Salary range is $230-260K
    • Plus 35% target bonus
    • Plus LTIP
    • Will offer a generous relocation package if necessary. Company is located in the city of LA.
    • Position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and works closely with all members of the Finance and Operations Leadership Teams
    • Supervises up to 10 Direct FTE's

    Keys:


    • Must come from a large manufacturer - $1.5B or larger.

    • Experience in F500, high volume, commercial environments strongly preferred - focus to include overseeing the sales, marketing, and business development activities of the company. Developing strategies to drive revenue, negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers, and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop effective business strategies.
    • Results-driven mindset with an understanding of market trends and customer needs.


    • Ability to drive decisions and is an effective lateral connector and can excel in a matrixed environment.


    • Transformation and continuous improvement mindset required.

    The Senior Finance Director is responsible for providing financial leadership and strategic insights to the North America Region. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Finance Director will serve as the main business partner for the Commercial Leader for the North America region. This role manages a high performing team and is responsible for leading the 5-year revenue forecasts, building and delivering financial portfolio models, informing strategic decisions through financials, analytics, and market insights, and partnering with top leadership across the organization to advance and execute on critical priorities.

    Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


    • Lead region Revenue Forecasting - In close partnership with the North America Commercial leader, inform and manage complex financial models to deliver long-range forecasts with ability to deliver scenario plan 'what if' analysis.


    • Provide business Insights to drive growth – A trusted partner to the Commercial Leader who both challenges and supports the leader with sounds financial council by applying strategic thinking and financial analytics to provided business insights, challenge business assumptions, drive fact-based decision making and enabled growth in both revenue and operating income.


    • Inform Portfolio Financials and Valuations – Look after all aspects of commercial decision making, financial performance & reporting, financial control, contractual negotiations. Deliver useful business insights through advanced analytics and data visualization capabilities. Facilitate approval requirements of customer deals,

    including pricing, terms and conditions, and adherence to revenue recognition guidance.


    • Develop and Manage Operational Financial Forecasts – Lead the AOP and quarterly forecast process for the North America Region, tying financial funding to business strategy and return, performing variance analysis, and leading trade-off decisions.


    • Drive Business Excellence - Champions innovation and develop financial framework and collaboration model that drive transformation efforts globally by conceptualizing and developing new approach to programs, product and services.


    • Optimize team performance and cross-functional partnerships – Enables team to pursue possibilities that will create sustainable value and quality outcomes. Empowering the team with meaningful decision making and ownership. Creates a culture that emphasizes ongoing learning and development and encourages others to seek and learn from diverse perspectives. Focuses on driving continuous improvement and quality outcomes.

    Minimum Requirements

    Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting plus 7+ years of managerial experience


    • CPA, CMA, and/or MBA preferred

    • Global Experience working in industry outside of United States - preferred not required
