- Analyze new application and financial data to determine appropriate levels of risk up to given threshold
- Propose credit limits to Plant Controller for new and existing customers outside of approval capabilities
- Review pending orders for approval or denial based on current negotiations of past due accounts
- Professionally collaborate with internal and external customers via phone, email, and video conference platforms
- Strategize financing options for applicable customers
- Escalate nonpayment cases to leadership team
- Ensure all collections procedures are compliant with US laws and regulations
- Stay updated on legal regulation changes
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc forecast reports for internal customers and leadership
- Keep accurate records for required retention period
- AR collections
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates degree and 5+ years related experience or Bachelors' degree and 3+ years related experience
- Strong B2B collections in a large-volume business
- Sense of urgency while maintaining high level of professionalism
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service mindset
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis in Excel to include formulas and pivot tables
- Plex experience is a PLUS

The Credit Analyst will establish credit limits for new customers based on market research and the credit application process, monitor AR aging, and support collections. The Credit Analyst should have top-notch customer service and the ability to create and drive credit application and approval processes as well as collection procedures. The position is based in Brentwood, TN, and will report directly to the Plant Controller.
