Responsibilities:

What you will be doing:

  • Managing the operations and business aspects of multiple food service units
  • Efficiently managing and ensuring smooth operations while maintaining quality, hygiene, safety, and company standards and complying with relevant laws/regulations and documentation requirements
  • Overall responsibility for culinary, service, logistics, inventory management, budget control and adherence, financial reporting, and monthly closing
  • Actively supporting and coaching subordinate managers/team leaders
  • Staff selection, scheduling, leadership, and development
  • Maintaining personal and close relationships with guests and onsite contacts/contractors
  • Driving the development and implementation of new culinary/food service concepts, promotions, etc.
  • Regular communication and collaboration with regional management

Qualifications:

What you bring:

  • Professional training in the hospitality industry (e.g. chef, restaurant manager, hotel manager)
  • Additional qualifications such as hotel management, hospitality specialist, or similar are advantageous
  • Experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in institutional food service (hospital, senior living, corporate dining)
  • Passion for nutrition and culinary arts
  • Business acumen: administrative and operational management, budgeting, and cost control
  • You lead by example for your entire food service and service team (approx. 200 employees) and foster a cooperative and motivating team environment
  • Strong focus on quality, service, and customer satisfaction
  • Good knowledge of HACCP hygiene standards
