- Oversee the preparation of deliverables and documents including narratives, calculations, drawings and specifications
- Engineering application of distribution Load Flow, Short Circuit and Arc Flash Energy analysis using Easy Power
- Application of electrical distribution, lighting and power systems design
- Effectively communicate design options to a diverse stakeholder group
- Provide engineering direction and guidance for the project team
- Independently evaluate and apply engineering judgment, techniques, and procedures to complete a project from concepts through construction
- Oversee electrical load calculations
- Utilize knowledge of other disciplines and direct interdisciplinary coordination
- Edit/write specification; provide input into standards
- Apply knowledge of building codes and electrical industry standards
- Perform engineering calculations and equipment selection
- Provide opinions of probable construction costs
- Perform site visits and issues reports
- Implement the project quality management plan (QMP)
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred
- LEED accreditation preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years' related work experience in the AEC industry/ built environment
- Advanced understanding of electrical engineering concepts
- Thorough understanding of project phases and their associated deliverables
- Ability to assemble and run a team
- Strong delegation skills
- Experience completing projects within a budget and schedule
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail and advanced organizational skills
- Knowledge and application of the NEC and relevant building and energy codes
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Thorough understanding of AutoCAD/Revit and Easy Power
- Hiring Base Salary Range: $80,000-$107,000 annual
- This position is eligible for straight overtime pay
