    This newly established position is integral to the strategic expansion of our Medical Division,
    which aims for substantial growth by identifying and cultivating new markets for our specialized
    medical products. Collaborating closely with the Business Development team, the SAM will
    primarily focus on managing key accounts within the AIMD/Cardio/Neurostimulation sectors.

    These sectors are witnessing remarkable growth and garnering significant investment within the
    medical device industry. This role offers excellent visibility and an opportunity to make a
    substantial impact by fostering trust and delivering value through cutting-edge biomaterials.
    The position is home-based in Minnesota to facilitate proximity to key device manufacturers.
    Travel will be required as part of the role.
    In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Sales, or Regional Sales Team Leader,
    ensuring alignment with overarching sales strategies and objectives.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Identify, cultivate, and expand relationships with pivotal customers and influencers
    within the designated market segment.


    • Leverage established expertise and experience to exert influence across Supply Chain,
    Product Development, and Quality functions within key device manufacturers.


    • Demonstrate proficiency in business practices, cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing
    Practices), and the medical product development process.


    • Forecast and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned accounts to gauge
    performance and guide strategic decision-making.


    • Proactively assist Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Business Development Teams in
    streamlining new production processes, identifying opportunities for product adaptation,
    and introducing new offerings to customer accounts.


    • Identify areas for enhancement in customer experience and collaborate with crossfunctional
    internal teams to implement improvements throughout the customer journey.

    Education and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics
    CRM preferred. Strong utilization and acumen in LinkedIn


    • Demonstrated drive to succeed, self-motivation, and results-oriented mindset
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills with diverse stakeholders
    and organizations


    Experience and Qualifications:

    • Seasoned Account Management professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
    • Proven track record in one or more of the following areas: Product Management, Clinical
    Relations, Technical B2B Sales, or Product Development, particularly within implantable
    drug delivery/active implantable platforms.


    • Proficiency in identifying opportunities within existing accounts and supporting the
    introduction of new technologies alongside the Business Development team.


    • Working knowledge of the intricate supply chains involved in medical product
    development and manufacturing.


    • Comprehensive understanding of the product development lifecycle, encompassing
    customer specification, validation, and product supply.


    • Skilled in negotiating Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Letter of Intent (LOIs), and
    Joint Development Agreements (JDAs).


    • Extensive network within the AIMD/Cardio/Neuromodulation sector, including Key
    Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinicians, Contract Development and Manufacturing
    Organizations (CDMOs), device manufacturers, and Original Equipment Manufacturers
    (OEMs).


    • Preferably, prior experience or engagement with major customers such as Medtronic,
    Boston Scientific, Edwards Lifesciences, or similar organizations. Strong established
    relationships across key OEMs, particularly Abbott, Medtronic, and Boston Scientific, as
    well as tier two and start-up companies within this industry.
