We carry over one million industrial, material handling and business products that are sold through our website, corporate sales people and full color catalogs.
Key Responsibilities
Administer employee benefit programs to include medical, dental, and insurance plans; disability programs; and 401(k) and RRSP plans for the U.S., Canada, and India.
Administer annual employee benefits open enrollment, including but not limited to employee communication materials, employee self-service portal and records, and system testing.
Assist with the preparation of reports and applications required by law to be filed with local and regional regulatory agencies including the Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, insurance commissioners, and other regulatory agencies.
Review and audit data related to benefit plan enrollment and benefits department projects, including the calculation of annual benefits pay amounts, flexible account contributions, adjustment of service dates, etc.
Participation in ongoing Health and Welfare plan-related projects, as assigned.
Analyze COVID-19 quantitative data based on the CV-19 Smartsheet database.
Other projects, as needed.
Competencies and skills
Combination of Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in benefits administration
including substantial knowledge of health, welfare, and retirement (401k & RRSP) plans.
CEBS strongly preferred
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, Sec. 125, ACA, etc.) required.
Excellent PC skills required in MS Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook.
Strong written and oral communication skills are imperative for this role.
Must also demonstrate a sense of urgency; provide excellent interpersonal and customer service skills as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
Hands-on experience with payroll software and third party software; such as SAP,
