We are searching for a detailed oriented *Medical Receptionist *to join our wonderful team We are a team of board-certified medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatologist that provides the best dermatological services to our patients.

    *This is a direct hire/permanent role* - We offer the opportunity to receive a DermTech certification to our team members, that lasts 4 years

    *Responsibilities:
    • Welcome patients, verify their information, and ensure a smooth check-in experience
    • Keep our records accurate by updating patient demographics and insurance details
    • Manage incoming calls, route them to the appropriate departments, and answer patient inquiries
    • Organize and maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance
    • Process payments and issue receipts, ensuring accurate cash handling
    • Digitize important documents for our electronic health records system
    • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments as needed
    • Handle sales of cosmetic products and track inventory
    • Ensure mail is correctly distributed to the appropriate departments or personnel
    *Qualifications:
    • HS Diploma or GED Required
    * *Preferred to have a clinical background in patient care (CNA, MA, CMA, LPN, or Patient Care Techs permitted to apply)

    • Prefer at least 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
    • Must have excellent communication skills & friendly patient care approach
    • Must be self-motivated, sharp, and reliable
    • Prior experience or interest in Dermatology field
    • Must be flexible to working later shift on Tuesdays (eliminating in July)
    • Experience taking vitals, performing injections, and directly assisting providers in treatment or examinations
    • Scribing experience (a plus)
