University Heart Center outpatient clinic in New Beaver, PA.
In our cardiology/cardiac surgery outpatient clinic, you will work in a dedicated, multidisciplinary team that provides care for patients from the
Department of Cardiology and the
Department of Heart and Vascular Surgery.
Our range of services in this area includes echocardiographic examinations, pulmonary function testing, electrocardiographic examinations, as well as device diagnostics and therapies.
Together with the Department of Heart and Vascular Surgery, the Department of Cardiology forms the University Heart Center and takes into account the specific needs that arise from this collaboration.
Your responsibilities- Conducting outpatient patient admissions using the hospital information system Orbis
- Performing administrative patient management and archiving
- Scheduling appointments and managing consultations
- Assisting with and conducting cardiological examinations, such as stress ECGs, resting ECGs, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal ultrasound examinations, tilt table tests
- Preparing and performing peripheral blood draws
- Completed vocational training as a Medical Assistant
- You have successfully completed a
qualification course in the field of cardiology for Medical Assistants or are willing to complete these further qualifications. - You have a high level of customer orientation and work constructively with all professional groups involved in patient care
