    Client Manager - Cincinnati, United States - The Ladders

    Description
    Job Responsibilities and Requirements

    This position requires you to manage client accounts ranging from 500 to 2,000 lives, being their main contact for ongoing service and providing consultative advice. As a Client Manager, you will handle contract issues, plan structures, financial queries, renewal questions, escalating claim issues, and other administrative aspects.

    Account Management
    • Collaborate with the implementation team during the implementation phase to ensure a smooth transition post-implementation.
    • Proactively engage with clients through face-to-face visits and phone calls to understand their business, issues, and needs.
    • Offer continuous education on company processes and keep clients informed of product and service enhancements.
    • Ensure compliance with performance guarantees on assigned cases and work closely with internal departments for operational functions.
    • Deliver Claims Experience Reporting and data clearly to clients and conduct annual stewardship meetings.
    Sales
    • Identify up-sell/cross-sell opportunities for assigned accounts and develop re-enrollment strategies.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate renewals, communicate clients' needs, and drive revenue growth through new lines and increased enrollment.
    • Assist in final presentations as needed.
    Administrative
    • Follow best practices and standard operating procedures, identify and resolve internal issues impacting client satisfaction.
    • Contribute to organization-wide projects and committees to enhance service and efficiency.
    Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Minimum 5 years of group insurance experience in account management
    • Strong customer service skills, consulting expertise, product knowledge, and operational effectiveness.
    • State insurance license required
    • Proven success in managing brokers/consultants
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
    • Thorough understanding of group insurance, state regulations, underwriting principles, and services
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
    • Strong planning, organization, and analytical skills
    • Adaptability and independence in work
    • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Ability to represent the company professionally
    Ability to Travel: Up to 50%

    Work location may be flexible if approved by the Company.
