    About the Job:

    The Manager of Talent Acquisition will report to the VP, Head of HR and play a pivotal role in developing staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of skilled and capable individuals for our organization. We are seeking a candidate who places a high value on the candidate experience and possesses broad knowledge across various recruitment-focused disciplines, from operational to corporate roles. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the ability to swiftly grasp complex requirements for specialized positions. This position is temporary, covering a maternity leave for approximately 4 months.

    What you will be responsible for:

    • Working closely with department managers to craft accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
    • Expanding the current repository of company-wide job descriptions while ensuring consistency
    • Overseeing job posting and advertisement processes
    • Coordinating interviews for all positions and maintaining communication with candidates throughout the process
    • Screening applications, selecting qualified candidates, and forwarding them to hiring teams for review
    • Supervising the creation of interview questions and other selection materials
    • Conducting initial candidate screenings when necessary and providing recommendations to the hiring team on suitable candidates to progress in the process
    • Facilitating and leading the interview process, participating in feedback sessions with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
    • Supporting Company DE&I objectives throughout the recruitment process
    • Collaborating with hiring managers and HR staff during the offer stage, including identifying salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other relevant details
    • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies at federal, state, provincial, and local levels
    • Maintaining recruiting databases and the Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse) for accurate reporting
    • Performing other assigned duties

    Qualifications that make you a great fit:

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience
    • Prior experience in recruiting within the telecommunications or Data Center sector is preferred
    • Desirable experience in recruiting for roles in technology, corporate, sales, marketing, product, facilities, and operations
    • Strong relationship-building skills and a track record of successful partnerships with various hiring managers
    • Previous work in a recruitment agency is advantageous
    • Experience in passive candidate sourcing, particularly using LinkedIn Recruiter, is beneficial
    • Interest and ability to identify sourcing opportunities within diverse groups
    • Dedication to collaborating with the business to secure top talent for our teams
    • Proficiency in assessing candidates over the phone and providing valuable insights to hiring teams
    • Preferably at least five years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
    • Knowledge of negotiation and closing techniques
    • Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably Greenhouse
    • Fluency in French and English is highly preferred

    Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience.
