Tasks, competencies and responsibilities

Procurement, including supplier search, tendering, offer evaluation, negotiation, conclusion, system maintenance of services or materials in central purchasing
Independent management of procurement processes in cooperation with business units and conducting contract and price negotiations for individual and framework agreements, also in an international environment
Development and implementation of innovative and applicable tender and procurement strategies with the aim of optimal commercial conditions and providing a selfservice for business units
Identification and use of market and demand data to identify areas for action and leverage value
Regular analysis and controlling of contract agreements to prepare for new and renegotiations and ensure quality and availability of services

Professional requirements

Completed commercial or technical degree (Master/Diploma, ideally with a focus on materials management and logistics) or comparable qualification through several years of professional experience combined with relevant further training
