- Teach courses as assigned from a pre-designed curriculum and utilize your professional expertise to provide high-quality instruction.
- Enhance the strength and effectiveness of the curriculum using technology and videos.
- Arrive on-campus at least half an hour prior to the start time of in-person sessions per week during the academic quarter.
- Utilize the online learning platform to enrich the student learning experience for the online component of the course.
- Be available to students via email, phone, text, and office hours to ensure students receive quality feedback in a timely manner to support their academic success.
- Establish high standards and ensure students understand how they will be evaluated.
- Adhere to University policies and procedures.
- Attend faculty meetings and workshops or training as required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of academic technology.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) software and overall computer skills.

- Doctorate in Accounting or Doctorate in Business related discipline from a regionally accredited institution is Required.
- Master's degree in Accounting from a regionally accredited institution.
- Coursework in Intermediate I and II or Equivalent
- CPA license (active or inactive) preferred.
- Must be able to travel occasionally should a business need arise. For most roles travel would not be common. Travel may involve plane, car or metro. In accordance with ADA policies, reasonable accommodations regarding travel limitations can be provided. Travel will be more common for roles such as Account Executives %), senior leaders (10 – 20%) or Capella Core Faculty (5 – 10%).
- Ability to work onsite in Corporate or Campus location (in a typical office environment) may be required based on role. If so, this would include being mobile within the office, including movement from floor-to-floor using elevators or stairs.

We are currently in search of a passionate professor for graduate-levelACC556 for the upcoming Summer Quarterin a hybrid format. The hybrid format is described as teaching the course in both the in-person and online modalities. This role requires 11 in-person meeting sessions for 2 hours every week held at a predetermined scheduled time (day/evening) at a specific Strayer University Campus. The balance of the course is instructed asynchronously online.
