The Department for Quantum Technology in the Faculty of Physics at the University of Münster, Germany, is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a:

Doctoral Research Associate

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work towards a doctorate while participating in the research activities of Prof C Schuck's group.

This includes planning and executing independent scientific projects in the field of quantum technology, specifically with photonic integrated circuits and superconducting single-photon detectors.

You will also collaborate with national and international partners in academia and industry on projects related to quantum sensing and quantum communication.

Your tasks will include fabricating and characterizing samples using chemical and physical processes in a clean room environment, as well as constructing and maintaining laboratory setups.

You will also be responsible for teaching 4 hours per week during the semester and assisting in the organization of a laboratory course for Master students in Physics.
