Job summary
Responsible for the setup and maintenance of Parties (interest owners and vendors) in the Land System. Handles all royalty owner inquiries and requests. Provides support to the Land Administration team and other internal/external departments to effectively manage Sheridan's land assets.


Summary of essential job functions

  • Listen to, transcribe, and respond to owner inquiries.
  • Setup and maintenance of parties in the EU system.
  • Mail audit letters, W9s or respond to 1099 requests when needed.
  • Research land files.
  • Research void checks and coordinate Treasury, Accounting, and Division Orders.
  • Review, assign, and distribute mail.
  • Prepare and issue division orders and transfer orders.
  • Work directly with the Division Order analysts and Land Administration Manager to resolve complex owner inquiries.
  • Special projects as needed.

Minimum requirements

  • One or more years of office or customer service work, E&P experience preferred.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to do detailed research.
  • Teamoriented versus individual contributor.

Abilities required
May need to lift heavy boxes of files on occasion.
