    Responsibilities*

    Administrative tasks include:

  • Managing purchasing of lab supplies; coordinating purchases with research administrator and other administrative staff as needed.
  • Assisting with IRB applications.
  • Managing maintenance of lab equipment, coordinating with support staff as needed to fix equipment issues.

    • Research tasks include:

  • Conducting literature reviews
  • Preparing study materials, including recruitment materials and online surveys, for data collection
  • Managing training of undergraduate research assistants.
  • Acting as study coordinator for research projects
  • Overseeing data processing and management, including processing and coding of behavioral and audiovisual data
  • Assisting in data analysis
  • Supporting collaborations with outside researchers

    • Required Qualifications*

  • High school diploma or Associate's degree
  • 1 year of experience in a research lab setting

    • Desired Qualifications*

  • Bachelors or Master's degree and 1-2 years experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant research, experience with overseeing a research study, some experience with data analysis, experience with qualitative coding using software such as NVivo.
  • Experience working in a psychological lab with behavioral and psychological measures.
  • Experience collecting data with children and families as research participants (e.g., studies of child development in the lab or community).
  • Experience coding, processing, and managing data using Excel and SPSS, Stata or R.
