Description
Torch Technologies is seeking an Operations Analyst with Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in military Operations and a basic understanding of Counter - Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) to support the HQDA G-3 DAMO-Fires team and as necessary, the Department of Defense's newly established Joint Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Office (JCO).
Analyst will support the DAMO-Fires Director, Deputy, and other team members' actions as a focal point for the Department to synchronize and integrate C-UAS efforts for the Army staff and other stakeholders (FCOE, SMDC, ASA/ALT, and RCCTO) CONUS and OCONUS activities.
Duties will include:
Maintain situational awareness of existing C-UAS, capabilities, and employment
Assess/analyze current C-UAS capabilities, employment and make recommendations on improving C-UAS employment
Expertise in JCIDS (Capabilities Development Documents, ONS, JUONS, Directed Requirements, etc.)
Working in conjunction with the planners, provide operational insights to improve current and future plans
Working in conjunction with the Policy team, provide operational insights to improve C-UAS policy development
Execute staff actions to support DAMO-Fires efforts
Prepare written products (reports, info papers, executive summaries) to shape and defend Army staff positions
Prepare and present briefings to leadership and stakeholders
Represent the Army staff in C-UAS forums as a team leader or participant to advocate for the Army
Answer requests for information from legislature (e.g. Congress) and stakeholders Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, science, business administration or equivalent experience required (Master's Degree preferred)
