Fort Hill Paper Technology Apprenticeship Program


Are you looking for a unique opportunity to utilize your strengths in the field of science? As a paper technologist, you will learn all aspects of the paper production process from the ground up.


You will become familiar with all the raw materials used in paper production and process them according to customer specifications.

You will also be responsible for operating and monitoring our machinery, ensuring quality control, and cutting the finished paper rolls for shipping.

Maintenance of our equipment will also be a part of your training. Join us in shaping the future of the paper industry.


  • 3-year apprenticeship program
  • Block-style vocational school at the Papermaker School in Gernsbach, Black Forest
