Educator (m/f/d) part-time (30 hours per week)


The city of Amberg is currently seeking an Educator (m/f/d) part-time (30 hours per week) for the municipal daycare center "Wunderland" as soon as possible.

The daycare center consists of a single-group kindergarten and a single-group nursery. The facility, equipped with an outdoor area, can accommodate up to 37 children.

Your responsibilities:

  • An accredited pedagogical education, e.g. as a state-recognized educator or a pedagogical degree
  • Previous work experience is desirable
  • Strong professional and personal skills
  • Willingness to expand and deepen your professional and personal skills through further training
  • Professional collaboration with the team and parents
  • Effective communication and ability to handle criticism
  • Ability to recognize and resolve conflicts
  • Team-oriented, independent, and structured work style
  • Commitment, resilience, and flexibility
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Your tasks:

  • Implementation of the educational and care mandate according to the Bavarian educational plan
  • Pedagogical care of the children
