- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering (or related degree) preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- PE - Professional Engineer Certification, preferred but not necessary
- Greater than four (4) years of relevant experience and academic preparation.
- Experience in manufacturing and/or the automotive industry preferred.
- NEC - National Electrical Code experience preferred.
- Environmental compliance (Air, Water, Waste) experience or coursework.
- ISO14001 System Implementation and Management experience preferred.
- ISO50001 System Implementation and Management experience preferred.
- General manufacturing and industrial equipment knowledge required.
- 2-5 years and Energy (CO2), Waste or Water Reduction experience.
- General understanding and working knowledge of energy & electrical engineering principles.

Administration of TBA Corporate Energy (CO2) Reduction Activities and KPI Tracking/Analysis.

Essential Job Functions:
A. Interprets and implements energy (CO2) reduction targets, goals, and plans.
B. Organizes and conducts energy program assessments and audits that evaluate the effectiveness of energy reduction projects and activities.
C. Investigates high energy usage equipment (e.g. HVAC Units, Motors, and Injection Molding Presses) to reduce energy consumption.
D.
Consults and coordinates with other professionals including plant management, environmental coordinators, utility companies, maintenance, engineers and contractors in the resolution of complex energy reduction issues.
E. Develops energy reduction policies & procedures including establishing criteria to control and reduce CO2 emissions.F. Creates monthly environmental Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports (e.g. Energy/CO2, Waste & Water)
G.
Function as a resource to plants in planning and implementing best practices in Energy program and waste & water reduction opportunities.
H. Assist plants on periodic energy saving (kaizen) activities.I.
Develop, implement, review, update, and train team members in energy reduction policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with TBJ & TBA Requirements.
J.Support plants in achieving and maintaining ISO14001/50001 certification and training in regard to TBJ & TBA Energy Goals & Targets.
(ISO 50001 experience not necessary but preferred)K. Comply with all regulations set by the Federal & State EPA/DOT and Local Governments.
L. Drive Energy (CO2), Water and Waste Energy Projects, develop environmental action plans and countermeasures, and report out on KPIs.

Coordinate the work of outside contractors and consultants to support creation of energy reduction projects and process performance testing, as needed.
N. Assist in engineering new processes and devices to meet or exceed energy (CO2) reduction requirements.O. Identify and inform management of energy reduction issues and improvement opportunities.
P. Conduct annual energy reduction training.

Conduct training and coaching for management and team members on energy reduction issues pertaining to their specific position and job duties in support of TBJ/TBA Energy Goals & Targets.
R. Develop/complete annual departmental business planning objectives and all assigned special projects, as required.S. Assist in the development of Biodiversity and Circular Economy topics through KPI creation and project implementation.
T. Follow safety, quality, confidentiality, and information security policies and procedures.

Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
Travel to all manufacturing plants within TB including:
