Job Description
Job DescriptionThe Operations Manager is a senior-level position. It can be reached by a Master Installer after training on business process or by the franchisee after initial intensive training at Koala Insulation corporate headquarters. The Operations Manager's role involves hiring of the crew, including selecting candidates, conducting interviews, and making offers of employment. This position is also responsible for the training and scheduling of employees. The Operations Manager may also occasionally mediate employee disputes. Additionally, they may process payroll for all team members in the absence of an Office Manager.
This position will work with the Estimation Specialist to schedule jobs and with the Repair Technician to ensure all vehicles and equipment are maintained. The Operations Manager may routinely follow up with customers, especially those larger or high-value, after a job is completed to ensure customer delight and handle any complaints to the customer's satisfaction. The person in this role may perform other quality control measures as well, such as occasional spot inspections.
