    As the first person many of our employees, visitors, and clients interact with, our receptionist is key in starting off a great experience. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate professionalism and exceptional customer service. This approach towards our employees and visitors is crucial to ensuring that our office is welcoming and that KLAS Research is represented well.

    With that in mind, we rely heavily on our receptionists to help us in creative ways to reinforce a culture where employees enjoy working in the office, feel safe, and feel known.

    This is a part-time, in office, position (11:00 – 5:00 M-Th; occasional Friday shifts for coverage, events, etc).

    Key Duties:

    • Answering phones and providing exceptional customer service
    • Assisting in our security by monitoring the front door and signing in guests
    • Assisting in planning and preparing meetings, events, and company parties
    • Owning the office appearance by maintaining an organized and professional office environment
    • Keeping us stocked on essential office supplies, including the assembly of office furniture
    • Responding to customer and employee inquiries
    • Assisting in coordinating the repair and maintenance of office equipment and the building
    • Assisting the Office Manager and Office Assistant with other administrative tasks and duties as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Characteristics:

    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Professional and courteous phone abilities
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Attention to detail, team mentality, and a positive attitude
    • Ability to quickly grasp business processes/concepts
    • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Experience with Salesforce, ADP, and Microsoft Teams a plus
    • Schedule and time management skills

    Education / Certification:

    • High School Graduate

    Pay starts at $13-15 an hour, depending on experience.
