    Description
    SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN AT GLOBAL FINTECH FIRM
    Base Salary is $100K to $150K (based upon candidate and experience)

    Solidly established Global FinTech Firm is looking for an experienced Systems Technician to join Systems Team. In this role, you will partner closely with all groups firmwide to understand business needs and provide innovative technology solutions and state-of-the-art equipment to enable success. Individuals interested in technology and a desire to help users understand how to use technology better while solving interesting problems are highly sought after.

    We work in a hybrid model where you will be in the office Tuesdays through Thursdays, with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
    • Background in Technical Troubleshooting and Desktop Support is required.
    • Requires on-site presence in the office Five (5) days a week (Monday through Friday) with occasional overtime hours and weekend work.
    • Knowledge of PC Hardware and the Microsoft Windows Enterprise environment.
    • Should also have a demonstrated interest in improving processes and technology.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and client service skills are required, as the role involves working with global colleagues across various backgrounds, experiences, and projects.
    • Resourceful, with a keen ability to combine independent research, prior experience, and critical analysis to resolve unfamiliar problems and advance challenging work.
    • Hands-on experience and familiarity with general systems administration, including hardware and software administration and phone, deskside, trade floor, AV, conferencing, event, and/or remote-user support, is preferred.
    • Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and/or other scripting languages is a plus, as is experience working in a Linux environment.
    RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW
    You will be responsible for providing in-person support with PC hardware, peripheral, and software deployments and mobile device management. You will also help with videoconferencing equipment, trading floor support, and occasional datacenter work. You will work closely with global teams and/or vendors to identify, diagnose, and resolve technical and non-technical issues.
