Pediatric Rheumatology, Section Chief
A nationally ranked academic Department of Pediatrics is seeking an exceptional leader experienced in clinical operations to develop, lead, and grow the clinical efforts, medical education, and scholarship within the Section Chief of Pediatric Rheumatology. The successful candidate will have the expertise to work independently and build a program with full Department and Institutional support. We are looking for a rising leader dedicated to excellence in clinical patient care, medical education, administration, and scholarship. The incoming Section Chief will oversee, lead, and manage all aspects of the only Pediatric Rheumatology Program in the state. Faculty opportunities are available.
The incoming Section Chief will be responsible for the development and expansion of all aspects related to the Section of Pediatric Rheumatology, serving infants, children, and adolescents with various rheumatologic disorders. The Section plays a crucial role in providing diagnosis and treatment to pediatric patients from the state and surrounding areas. Key responsibilities include leadership, recruitment of faculty clinicians, teaching, patient care, and program development.
