- Operating 2 & 3 axis Bridgeport Acu-Rite Retrofit mills with some programing.
- Performing manual machining using Hardinge lathe, LeBlond lathe, Bridgeport, and Deckle mills.
- Designing and fabricate tooling for machining.
- Reads and interprets all drawing necessary to perform the assigned production operations.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
- Prior Bridgeport Acu-Rite retrofit or ProtoTrak operating experience.
- Setup experience preferred.
- Acu-Rite programing highly desired, or willing to learn.
- Must have five years machining experience with 3 years manual machining.
- Must be able to perform machining independently and be willing to train others.
- Must read mechanical drawings and have good understanding of geometric tolerances.
- Must be capable of performing Machinist Journey Levels tasks effectively.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a "U.S. Person" as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

YOUR DAY TO DAY:
To perform set-ups on standard machine tools using all accessory tools and equipment necessary to build intricate parts or mechanisms required for prototype products, under minimum supervision.
