Walter Hunger GmbH & Co. KG Hydraulic Cylinder Factory is an internationally active company in the fluid technology industry. As an expert in large and special cylinders, Hunger Hydraulics develops and implements innovative solutions according to customer requirements.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an immediate start:

Turning Machinist (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

  • Precise production of turned parts through conventional and NC-controlled turning
  • Creation of programs on Siemens 840 D control with ShopTurn interface
  • Setting up of components
  • Continuous optimization of programs, setups, and running times to increase efficiency
  • Quality control of machined parts

Qualifications:

  • Completed vocational training as a turning machinist
  • Experience and excellent knowledge of turning and programming of turned parts
  • Knowledge of handling long turned parts and steady rests is advantageous
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • Flexibility, resilience, and teamwork skills
  • Good German language skills in speaking and writing
