    Job DescriptionWhat you will do
    • The RN Clinical Analyst will lead EMR implementation, training and ongoing support for nursing, physicians, and other areas assigned.
    • This role will have one-on-one interaction with physicians, clinicians, nursing, and ancillary hospital departments.
    • Will be required to interface with physicians, clinicians, hospital staff, and administration to implement and support the release of EMR applications.
    • Function as a liaison between clinical and technical staff to ensure appropriate design, build and integration of the EMR. Translate workflows encompassing business user objectives into documented system design specifications. Collaborate with IT for development of technical specifications and data requirements to ensure appropriate build and integration to all clinical applications. In conjunction with project teams, develop appropriate testing, training, and implementation plans, utilizing change control standards. Participate in the full life cycle for all phases of EMR testing.
    • Provides hands-on EMR support in a hospital environment. Assists providers, nursing, and hospital staff with maximizing the standardized and consistent use of Cerner through support of the software as designed.
    • Provides hands-on support for third-party, non-Cerner, applications that are deeply integrated within the EMR and are part of the physician and nursing user experience.
    • Communicates clearly, openly, and efficiently to ensure correct use of the EMR and timely resolution of day-to-day issues including support of downtime processes.
    • Provides effective and efficient onsite or phone support to operational users, working days, evenings, and nights as needed. Responsible for 24 hr./7 days a week basis.
    • Uses independent judgment daily to identify, prioritize, and report issues.
    • Must be able to work independently and within a team environment.
    • Builds collaborative relationships with ancillary department/physicians by rounding and attending requested entity meetings.
    • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oklahoma required.
    • Knowledge of Cerner EMR systems required.
    • Participates in and supports new department installations.
    • Responsible for development and updating EMR process and procedure policy pertaining to workflows in nursing and other assigned Cerner modules.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    To be successful you will need:

    Clinical Experience in a hospital setting

    Behind the scenes EHR experience

    Basic IT experience
