    Description

    POSITIONSUMMARY:
    Responsible for greeting patients in warm friendly tone toallow families to
    feel welcomed at clinic during theirvisit. Registration and interviewing of patients to obtain accurate
    demographic and financial information. Computer entryof new/updated patient demographic
    information. Answersphones. Prepare medical records for clinic visits by compilinginformation from
    various sources. Tracks dictation toensure notes are received for all patient visits. Collects co-pay
    amounts and balances due for services rendered.
    Distributes financial assistance packets and
    providesbasic guidance to patients. Refers complex or non-compliant patientfinancial issues to
    Financial Specialist or SiteManager.

    Requirements

    MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION:
    High school graduate.
    CERTIFICATION/


    LICENSES:
    Medical Terminology Certification,preferred.


    SKILLS:

    • Computer knowledge,experience with Windows environment specifically Microsoft Office
    Word and Excel, keyboarding skills and the ability tooperate general office equipment skills
    required

    • Ability to read and write in English, bilingual in Spanishpreferred.

    EXPERIENCE:
    One to two years of general ormedical office experience or completion of a medical
    office program within the last two years. One to two years ofhealth experience preferred.
