Description
POSITIONSUMMARY: Primary CareClinician nurse will work collaboratively with physicians, staffand other health care professionals to provide a smooth health carecontinuum for all patients within the clinic setting. The nurse isan integral member of the clinic care team who works to ensuresafety, best practice and high quality standards of care aremaintained across the continuum. The RN is responsible forcoordinating a variety of patient wellness and chronic illnessactivities for the clinic's entire patient population. Success willbe measured by the results of the outcome performance measures ofthe population of patients in the clinic. (eg. PatientSatisfaction, ACO, HCC, clinic quality dashboards). The RN acts ina clinical leadership role utilizing concepts of critical thinkingand creative problem solving to ensure positive outcomes in thedelivery of clinical care.
RequirementsMINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Graduate of anaccredited program for Registered Nursing. BSN preferred
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES:Licensed by State of New Mexico as an RN. BLSCertification issued through American Heart Association required,or within 2 weeks of hire date.
SKILLS:
EXPERIENCE: One yearexperience working as a nurse in a clinical setting.

PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS: Requires full range of body motionincluding handling and lifting patients, manual and fingerdexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing andwalking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts andcarries items weighting up to 50 pounds. Requires workingunder stressful conditions or working irregular hours. Frequent exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxicsubstances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and otherconditions common to a clinic environment.
