job summary:
A Health and Safety Admin is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Kansas City, KS area. Experienced safety professional required for manufacturing, proficient in OSHA compliance, strong communicator, skilled in incident investigation, comfortable in union setting, and physically capable.

responsibilities:

Generate procedures and ensure compliance with OSHA standards

Work with employees to address safety issues Qualifications:

Minimum five years of manufacturing safety and health experience

Proficiency in OSHA compliance requirements

strong communication skills

Knowledgeable in Lock Out Tag Out, Confined Space, and Machine Guarding

Experience in incident investigation and report writing

Comfortable working in a unionized environment

Ability to be ambulatory for the majority of an eight-hour shift
