The Associate Electrical Engineer is expected to gain technical proficiency and familiarity in the fields of instrumentation and control, data acquisition, and control software programming necessary to operate furnaces, vacuum systems and variety of other manufacturing equipment.
The candidate will trouble shoot, develop repair procedures, maintain configuration control, prepare operating procedures and drawings, and work with outside vendors to fulfill service contract requirements.
Additionally, the candidate will work with other team members to research, design, develop, procure and deploy new complex integrated control systems and equipment used for general and specialized systems.
Procurement of equipment will require planning, designing, reviewing submittals and designs, participating in acceptance testing and overseeing the installation.As a national asset, the Naval Nuclear Laboratory provides employees with excellent pay and benefits as well as an exceptional work/life balance and employment stability.
