Do you have a desire to help the world's best Navy? Nuclear Test Engineering is responsible for the maintenance and operation of several different types of equipment used in a manufacturing process located at the Bettis Atomic Laboratory.
The Associate Electrical Engineer is expected to gain technical proficiency and familiarity in the fields of instrumentation and control, data acquisition, and control software programming necessary to operate furnaces, vacuum systems and variety of other manufacturing equipment.
The candidate will trouble shoot, develop repair procedures, maintain configuration control, prepare operating procedures and drawings, and work with outside vendors to fulfill service contract requirements.
Additionally, the candidate will work with other team members to research, design, develop, procure and deploy new complex integrated control systems and equipment used for general and specialized systems.
Procurement of equipment will require planning, designing, reviewing submittals and designs, participating in acceptance testing and overseeing the installation.

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
