Immunology Sales Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Immunology Sales Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our specialty pharmaceuticals to Healthcare Professionals in this region.

Position Summary:
The Immunology Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving the sales objectives and revenue target for their territory.

They accomplish this through engaging Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in field interactions to promote assigned Client product(s), maximizing the product(s)' selling potential, and meeting program objectives.

The Immunology Sales Specialist achieves this by developing and maintaining relationships with HCPs, key decision makers and achieving sales goals.

The Immunology Sales Specialist achieves this by educating HCPs about product features, benefits, safety profile, and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use.

The Immunology Sales Specialist utilizes approved tools for product and program promotion and maintains a competent level of product, program, and customer activity knowledge.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet and or exceed territory sales goals and objectives.
  • Manage daily sales activity and performance according to defined expectations.
  • Profile and manage a targeted list of HCPs.
  • Create and implement territory business plans to achieve territory and business sales goals.
  • Effectively and compliantly communicate with customers using effective selling, listening and negotiation skills, proper terminology and approved messaging, and effectively use approved promotional aids.
  • Verify and complete required daily data entry of call activity in CRM.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to customer needs and questions.
  • Create and maintain a positive impression with customers and Client.
  • Prepare reports for Management as needed.
  • Good understanding of and full compliance with all laws, regulations, and Amplity Solutions Policies and Code of Conduct, all privacy and data guidelines, relevant state and federal laws and regulations, and terms and conditions prescribed in the Sample Administrative Agreements and PDMA Guidelines.
  • Participate in national, regional and district meetings, training sessions and represent Client at national and/or local conventions when applicable.
  • Successfully complete all required Client and product training.

Education, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience required.
  • Track record of sales success and existing relationships with customers in immunology.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal, written and impactful communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus and integrity.
  • High level selling, persuasion, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Elevated levels of initiative, resilience, and drive for results.
  • Sound decision making skills and intellectual curiosity.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical/medical terminology and to maintain the required technical expertise including competitive product knowledge.
  • Effective collaboration skills; able to work independently and as a team member.
  • Flexibility to embrace challenges and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Top business planning skills with a winning mindset.
  • Immunology experience highly preferred.
  • GI experience a plus.
  • Specialty pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
  • Medicare Part D experience preferred.
  • Biologics experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and to work related meetings and functions (including overnight and/or weekends).
  • A valid US driver's license and safe driving record required.
  • Colleagues in customerfacing roles within our Commercial and Medical Solutions teams may be expected to maintain required credentials, including vaccination status. This ensures compliance with standards for patient and colleague safety
